Pigmentation is no match for the potent and skin-transforming Dermamelan Depigmentation Peel!
Give me the lowdown
Have pigmentation? This peel is for you. The Dermamelan Peel is the world’s leading and most effective treatment for reducing unwanted pigmentation. The pigmentation peel works by exfoliating layers of built-up dead skin cells and inhibit the production of melanin, which is responsible for the colour and tone of our skin (and the main culprit behind those pesky dark spots!) By treating the source of pigment formation, this holy grail peel can drastically reduce areas of discolouration, and give you the insanely clear, bright and evenly-toned complexion you’ve been dreaming of! The pigmentation peel has a two phase approach, part one involving the application of the mask in-clinic, and part two, a 6-8 week at-home maintenance program to enhance the effects of the mask. After your pigmentation peel has been applied in-clinic, that gorgeous face of yours will be going home with the mask on for approximately 6-8 hours, so it’s a good idea to plan your day accordingly. Your skin specialist will let you know exactly when to wash the mask off, so in the meantime just sit back, pop on your fave Netflix series, and let the peel work its magic! Initial results can be seen in as little as 2 weeks, however full results are seen approximately 4-6 weeks post treatment. Use of further supportive products may be needed for up to 6 months to help maintain those epic skin results. It’s important to stay in touch with us throughout your depigmentation journey so we can support you every step of the way. There is some downtime involved with these peels and you will experience redness, dryness and flakiness as those fresh baby skin cells start to appear, but trust us when we say it’s totally worth it! We’ve got you boo. Let’s do this!
Is it right for me?
The Dermamelan Depigmentation Peel is an excellent treatment for all types of skin discolouration, including hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damage, age spots, freckles, scarring and discolouration from acne. Also fab for overall skin brightening! It's best suited for clearing more stubborn pigmentation like severe melasma. A consultation in-clinic is essential to determine whether you’re a suitable candidate for the treatment. Before you get started on your Depigmentation journey, you’ll need to be using a Vitamin A serum to help prepare the skin for your in-clinic peel. Vitamin A helps reduce any rapid shedding and scaly looking skin (cos ain’t nobody got time for hibernating like a snake!) Please note this treatment is not suitable for babes who are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to get pregnant.

Handy to know
Although the depigmentation peel can be performed at any time of the year, we recommend scheduling them during the cooler months when there’s less sun exposure. You’re also likely to be spending more time indoors due to the chilly weather, so it’s the perfect time to let your precious skin recover!
SC Pro Tip
When committing to the Dermamelan Peel, you need to be absolutely on point with your sun protection. We cannot stress this enough! Remember you’re at your most sun sensitive for the first month post-treatment because you’ll be using your home care products day and night.
