Give me the lowdown

Meso Needling, also known as Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy, is our revolutionary skin treatment offered at Skin Collective. So how does it work? This advanced facial procedure involves the use of fine needles to create micro-punctures in the skin, which triggers the body's natural healing process. This stimulates collagen and elastin production, essential elements for maintaining smooth, youthful skin. Throughout your tailored Meso Needling treatment, our incredible team use Toskani products to create the best mesotherapy cocktail that best suits your skin's needs. Toskani products are meticulously formulated to cater to various skincare needs such as anti-ageing, protection, depigmentation, and acne treatment. An advanced Toskani mini peel will be applied to your skin to aid delivery of the active ingredients, followed by a bespoke treatment mask to boost results. The mesotherapy cocktails are delivered either through epidermal micro-needling, peeling and exfoliating the skin, or dermal micro-needling, depending on what your skin needs on the day of your treatment.

Is it right for me?

Meso Needling is beneficial for a variety of skin concerns and is suitable for all skin types. One of the primary benefits of Meso Needling is its ability to improve skin texture and firmness, so if this is something you’re wanting to improve for your skin - lock it in. By promoting collagen production, our Meso Needling treatment at our Perth clinic can effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars, including acne scars and stretch marks.

Did somebody say benefits?

- Suitable for all skin types - Versatile treatment for smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking skin - Stimulates collagen production - Reduces fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and hyperpigmentation - Improves skin texture, tone, and product absorption - Minimal discomfort and downtime

How many treatments will I need?

This will depend on your skin type and concerns, however best results are usually seen from three Meso skin treatments, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. When you come in for your initial consultation, we’ll create a tailored treatment plan just for you!

Is there any downtime?

One of the advantages of our Meso treatment is that it typically involves minimal downtime. Most clients experience mild redness and swelling, similar to a sunburn, which usually subsides within 24 to 48 hours. In some cases, there might be slight peeling or dryness as the skin heals and regenerates. However, these side effects are temporary and generally resolve quickly, allowing you to resume your regular activities with little to no interruption. The level of discomfort felt during Meso Needling will vary from person to person, but we’d rate the pain around three out of ten without local anaesthetic.

Handy to know

Meso Needling can also address pigmentation issues, sun damage, and enlarged pores, resulting in a more even and rejuvenated complexion. This incredible treatment also enhances the absorption of skincare products, allowing for deeper penetration of active ingredients, which amplifies their effectiveness. See why it’s our fav?

SC Pro Tip

As we always recommend after every treatment - especially after our Meso Needling however - you must not forget to apply and reapply your SPF50+ in the morning and throughout the day - every single day.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is mesotherapy needling?

Mesotherapy needling involves a technique where a series of superficial micro-injections are made into the middle layer of the skin to deliver active ingredients directly to targeted areas. These ingredients can include vitamins, minerals, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts, which aim to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as reduce excess fat. It's commonly used for facial contouring, skin rejuvenation, and improving overall skin health.

What is the difference between microneedling and meso needling?

Microneedling (skin needling) and meso needling (or mesotherapy needling) differ primarily in their purpose and the depth of needle penetration. Microneedling is a procedure that uses tiny needles to create controlled skin injuries, stimulating the body's natural wound healing process to produce collagen and elastin, which can improve skin texture and appearance. Meso needling, on the other hand, involves the injection of active ingredients into the skin, not just stimulating collagen but also delivering nutrients directly to the skin layers for enhanced rejuvenation and targeted treatment outcomes.

Is meso needling worth it?

This all depends on your individual goals and skin condition. Many of our clients here at Skin Collective find it beneficial for targeted issues such as skin ageing, cellulite, and localised fat deposits due to its ability to deliver active ingredients directly to the skin. Those looking for more immediate and specific improvements in skin texture and hydration may find meso needling a valuable addition to their skincare regimen.

What are the benefits of needle meso therapy?

Needle mesotherapy, or meso needling here at Skin Collective, offers unlimited benefits, including improved skin hydration, elasticity, and tone. By directly infusing active ingredients into the skin, it helps diminish fine lines and wrinkles, enhances the skin's radiance, and can help reduce the appearance of scars and pigmentation. Additionally, it supports better nutrient absorption, promotes collagen production, and can aid in reducing localised fat and cellulite. At Skin Collective, all our meso needling treatments can be tailored to your skin concerns, allowing us to address any specific skincare needs more effectively.
