A bio-regenerator injectable which has been popular in South Korea since 2015 and recently offered in our Perth clinic since 2023, this treatment directly delivers bio-compatible polynucleotides into the skin to improve overall skin health from the inside. So what makes this bio-healing treatment so incredible? Well, Rejuran’s gel formation of polynucleotides is derived from wild salmon DNA fragments which have been extracted using DNA Optimising Technology (DOT). These long DNA chains maintain a long-lasting and slow-degrading structure, which is ideal for rejuvenation and healing. How many treatments will I need?

To achieve the best results, we recommend a series of 2-4 bio-healing treatments, spaced 2-6 weeks apart.

Is there any downtime?

1-2 days of downtime. As Rejuran is scattered between 1-1.5 cm apart all across the eye area or face, you can expect 40-60 blebs that usually last between 12 to 36 hours.

Have the Rejuran bio-healing treatment done on a Friday afternoon or Saturday morning and you will be fine and ready for Monday. As usual, we strongly recommend you apply SPF 50+ broadband protection sunscreen on the daily and don’t exercise excessively on the day after your treatment.

Typically, an initial series of 3 to 4 treatment sessions is recommended, spaced about 4 weeks apart, to achieve the best results. However, the exact number of sessions may vary based on your skin concerns. Our team may suggest maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months thereafter.

Are there any side effects or downtime for REJURAN®?

REJURAN® generally involves minimal downtime. Some patients may experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites, which usually subsides within a few days.
